Our Team

Lori joined United Way of Clare and Gladwin Counties in 2022. Raised in Gladwin County, she and her husband, Scott, live in Clare where they’ve raised their 4 children. Her love for both counties is the driving force in her dedicated efforts with the United Way to improve the lives of those in need.
Her work experience in both the non-profit and corporate worlds has given her unique skills to guide our United Way and to work alongside the local agencies that United Way partners with. In working together, these strong partnerships provide positive impact for a healthier and happier community.
When Lori isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, spoiling her kids and 6 grandkids, gardening, travelling, salmon fishing, reading a good book and simply enjoying the life she’s been blessed with.

Mona is a life-long resident of Clare. She attended Central Michigan University, where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Family Life. Mona has worked with United Way since 2003. During that time, she has held several positions within the organization, including Volunteer Center Director, Community Impact Coordinator, Administrative Coordinator, and Bookkeeper. Mona enjoys the work she does for United Way and the coordination of efforts between United Way, their partner agencies and the community. It is inspiring, just one donation given through United Way, can support so many programs and that a panel of community members determines how best to use that funding.
